Started back in 1946, with its main hub at Hong Kong International Airport, Cathay Pacific Airways caters its services to around 110 destinations across the globe today. The airline is counted among one of the most respected carriers from the Pacific rim. With over 20,000 people in staff in Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific provides multiple services, including aviation, catering, aircraft maintenance and ground handling facilities. Along with its subsidiaries, Air Hong Kong and Cathay Dragon, it provides scheduled cargo and passenger services, with more than 150 aircrafts flying to 130 odd destinations.
