What are the initiatives taken by Kerala Tourism to promote inbound travel?
With the aim of boosting the state’s inbound as well as outbound tourism, Kerala Tourism has always formulated and executed initiatives that have resulted in elevating the state to being among the top destinations in India. Some of the noteworthy initiatives taken by Kerala Tourism are:
Kerala Natventure: The main focus is on a variety of offerings in the activity and adventure tourism space. The objective of the initiative is to position Kerala as an attractive destination for the young segment, which prefers activities and adventure experiences as part of their holiday. Kerala, with its rich repertoire of natural heritage such as hill stations, beaches, backwaters, national parks and wildlife sanctuaries, provides a range of options to visitors, ranging from forest walks, trails and wildlife safaris to trekking, camping, rock climbing and paragliding.
