MoT Hosts 6th International Tourism Mart In Guwahati

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, organised the sixth edition of the International Tourism Mart (ITM) at Vivanta by Taj in Guwahati, Assam, over December 5-7, 2017. Inaugurated by the Governor of Assam, Jagdish Mukhi, in the presence of the Chief Minister of the state, Sarbananda Sonowal; Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu; Union Tourism Minister (I/C), KJ Alphons; Minister of Tourism for Assam, Hemanta Biswa Sarma; and Union Tourism Secretary, Rashmi Verma, amongst others, the three-day mart highlighted the tourism potential of the region in the domestic and international markets.
