10 New Reasons To Visit Tokyo Disney Resort
The first Disney theme park to open outside of the US, Tokyo Disneyland opened on April 15, 1983. Later, Tokyo Disney Resort expanded to include Tokyo DisneySea, which opened on September 4, 2001. To celebrate 35 years of being the happiest place on earth, Tokyo Disney Resort’s 35th Anniversary “Happiest Celebration” is happening right now, until March 25 next year. Enjoy these new attractions specially created just for this year-long event.

1 IT’S A SMALL WORLD

This boat ride has always been one of Tokyo Disneyland’s best-loved attractions, a firm favourite not only with the kids, but adults as well! Dubbed “The Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed”, It’s A Small World has been relaunched with new enhancements in time for the 35th anniversary celebration. Featuring 40 new Disney characters, the voyage begins in Europe and sails on to Asia, Africa, Central America and the islands of the South Pacific. TIP: This is a very popular attraction so expect a perpetually long queue. Make use of the FASTPASS ticket to avoid standing in line – you will find the FASTPASS ticketing machine near the attraction entrance.
