A Night at the Opera
Politics, religion and love come together in Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca under the stars at the Hôtel National des Invalides, as the Paris museum transforms itself into an open-air opera house. Playing from the 4th to the 8th of September, Tosca takes you back to Rome in 1800 to tell the story of its jealous heroine, Tosca. Based on Victorien Sardou’s play, the opera is a dramatic tale of love, jealousy and betrayal, at a time of political unrest. You can book your tickets online (www. operaenpleinair.com), or at Fnac. - S.I.

Ghost in Love
It was one of the 90’s biggest movie hits, and now Ghost is coming to Paris, this time in the form of a musical. The love story between Sam and Molly is retold through song at the Théâtre Mogador starting from the 26th of September, and just like the movie it promises to have the audience falling in love with the couple and their heartbreaking love story as Sam returns as a ghost after being murdered. Moneik Boersma steps in the role made famous by Demi Moore, Grégory Benchenafi takes on Patrick Swayze’s Sam, and Claudia Tagbo stars as psychic Oda Mae Brown, the role that won Whoopi Goldberg an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. - S.I.
