Cyrus Sahukar has done TV, movies, shows and improv. What does he want to do next?
Welcome to Maxim. What have you been up to? It’s been a few years, right?
Well, hello Maxim! Of late, I have been involved in a couple of very interesting projects. On the writing front, I’ve cowritten a dark comedy film with Rajat Kapoor. We’ve just finished shooting the film with a killer cast and it was a lot of fun. I also shot a game show for the web called the Desi Variety Show. And, now, I am doing a multi-city tour with Papa CJ and Danish Sait. In fact, I’m also shooting a game show for Colors TV, a family quiz show.
You’re donning multiple hats. What do you like the most about your job?
It lets me travel constantly and I truly enjoy travelling. Also, I love improv; it’s something that you can’t fall back on or you’ve done before. It’s exactly what happens on stage at that point of time. I’m getting used to the fun of uncertainty.
You’ve nailed the art of public speaking, but you told us you’re still nervous before you go on stage. How do you make that transition in a few minutes?
