Thanks to the work of Kazakh architect Aibek Almassov, we have a template for the future of the glass house. All too literally, of course! The talented architect, founder of A. Masow Design Studio, has seriously magnified the “closer to nature” concept, especially when it comes to the idea of family homes that help us move away from bustling city centres.
The idea is ridiculously simple, and pretty genius. A tubular glass, curved around a metal structure that holds the frame in place, makes up the entirety of the residence and mimics a treetrunk in the middle of the forest. The futuristic house is a marvel of design that isn’t necessarily all that complicated to build, and is likely to cost around one crore or so.
