A Fitness Journey, From Boy To Man

Nope, the phrase “dad bod” is definitely not in Randall Wong’s vocabulary. While many middle-aged men have given up on the gym life, he’s marking a whopping 28 years of lifting, and counting.

But maintaining his fitspo status hasn’t always been a walk in the park. Despite his conscientious efforts to stay fit, Randall was struck with some serious health challenges which required hospitalisation – hindering his workouts and causing his body to weaken.

Undeterred, he started again from square one, and with that perseverance, the Kuala Lumpur native went on to win runner-up in a Malaysia fitness Cover Guy competition 2016 – beating boys in their 20s!

Randall believes it’s never too late and hopes to motivate men and women in their 40s to embark on their own fitness journeys. Read on to be inspired by his story.
