Tell us about yourself. I’m an ex-auditor, currently an accountant.

Accounting wasn’t something that struck my interest, until I decided that I needed to take root somewhere in order to learn more about making a living, in addition to other important life aspects.

I always love contrasts in things. Or, should I say, I’m quite a rebel. For example, the greatest compliment is when people tell me I have a personality unlike an accountant’s and that I’m playful and cheerful. There was once where I was mistaken as an interviewee for a position in PR or Marketing, when I was actually there for a vacant Audit Associate position.

To me, life is all about gaining experiences. Many have asked me why I made the big decision to go to Japan for employment with such short planning time. Well, the way I see it, how many times will I be offered such an opportunity?

What do you like most about living in Japan, Nagoya?

As much as the extrovert I may seem, I actually like the slow and steady lifestyle there. Aside from being able to live a completely different lifestyle from that in KL, I get to see how people there react in different ways to various situations than people back home.
