An unexpected side effect of the pandemic was that it normalised the idea of mothers of young children working from home in professional roles. Now, with Zoom calls becoming a normal way to have a meeting, and full acceptance of working from home, it is much easier for mothers to successfully work from home.
At the same time, you may find that you’re balancing work, parenting and homeschooling all at the same time, which can be tough and overwhelming. If you are feeling overwhelmed by playing multiple roles at once, that’s okay - and it’s definitely worth looking at ways to make it more structured and easier.

SET REALISTIC GOALS
If you’re working from home this year, and have young children in the home, keep realistic expectations about what you can actually get done in a day.
