Escaping to a first class winter destination can be just the ticket to take your imagery to the next level. Here in the UK, it's fair to say we are dealt our share of ‘wet and windy’ as the Atlantic delivers us its mix of turbulent weather. May I recommend an experience with mountains – very big mountains – as it's something you will never forget.

Travelling into Jackson Hole, Wyoming is truly a wonderful drive. If you enter it from the west, you climb over the south of the formidable Teton mountain range, while to the north is Yellowstone. Driving through snowy farm land across the endless arable fields can produce some sublime pastoral scenes, but to sit beneath huge mountains is unforgettable.
