MONSOON PLATTER

CREAMY MILLET

Ingredients

  • Millet (Banyard millet/ foxtail millet) 1 cup

  • Tender coconut cream 1/2 cup

  • Coconut milk (second extract) 1 cup

  • Cow ghee 1 tsp

  • Mustard seed 1/4 tsp

  • Chana dal 1 tsp

  • Urad dal 1 tsp

  • Green chilly, cut in big pieces 1

  • Curry Leaves, finely chop 2 sprig

  • Rock Salt 1 tsp or as per taste

  • Lemon juice 2 tsp or as per taste

Method:

1. Soak millet for 2 hours and cook it with 2 cups of water and salt till it become soft, one can add more water if required.

2. Grind tender coconut cream and coconut milk and mix it with the cooked millet.
