SPRINGS OF LOVE

Life springs from love – the origin is love and life seeks love. The goal of life is also love and, in between, life is sustained by love. There is not a single creature or living entity on this planet that has not known love or is devoid of love.

Love brings perfection and fulfillment in life. Love is Amrit Swarupa cha – it makes you emotionally intoxicated and intellectually wonderstruck; it makes you repose in the Self and also quietens you. It takes you towards the ultimate reality, the truth to Self-realization.

Sa tvasmin param prem rupa

Devotion is ultimate love, that is immortal, unconditional and undying. There is nothing so wonderful, so awesome, so deep as the devotional form of love, the Bhakti that brings all glories. It is ancient love, that has the patience to wait forever, which is unconditional!

Five Arrows of love

The God of Love in Indian mythology is called apanga. Apanga means ‘one who has no parts of the body at all’. It is so because love has no parts, no shape, and no form. It is formless. He has a bow and five arrows. These five arrows are made up of five flowers - the five senses. He hits you with the five flowers and it is through these five senses that you experience something that is beyond the five senses. You experience a wave of beauty deep inside you. It produces sweet honey inside of you!
