Honda’s Indian team made a scintillating debut, earning a double podium finish at Asia Road Racing Championship in Chennai.
AFTER SOME REAL adrenalin pumping action, Taiga Hada posted a double podium finish for IDEMITSU Honda Racing India in Round 4 of the Asia Road Racing Championship. Hada clocked the second fastest lap time (1:41.33 minute) in Race 2 at the Madras Motor Sports Club in Chennai.
The 19-year-old Japanese rider began Race 2 from the sixth row before climbing up the ranks with meticulous precision to finish third in the SuperSport 600cc class. This was the second day in a row that Hada took the podium in an ultra-competitive race, which saw many riders tumble down both the standings and the undulating 3.74km track.
