The world of tennis is full of good looking men and beautiful women players. The crossing of paths is bound to create some closeness among the players. There are players who turns into close pals while there are few who gets into the relationship. It is not that everything is smooth and rosy as we have also seen the separation point. However, it is nice to see players dating each other in tennis. Here is the list of five such pairs, who fell in love with each other.
ROGER FEDERER- MIRKA VAVRINEC
These two are the most famous couple in the world of tennis. Despite Federer’s professional commitment, Mirka Vavrinec has never complained to him about the lack of time. It was in September 2000, almost 16 years ago that Roger Federer met his future wife Mirka at the Olympic Games in Sydney. The Swiss lost to Haas in the semi-finals and failed to win the bronze medal. In Sydney Roger was close to Mirka for all the tournament (she lost to Elena Dementieva in the 2nd round). “I didn’t know why he wanted to speak so much” Vavrinec said - “then, at the end of the tournament, he kissed me,” she added. It wasn’t an adventure. Till that moment, Roger was engaged only one time. According to some sources, he had many difficulties in leaving her first fiancee. Almost nine years of their love (then) was sublimated with their wedding in April 2009, followed by the birth of their twin daughters Myla and Charlene and later after the birth of their second set of twins, Leo and Lenny. He has more often credited his wife for the success he has achieved. According to him, this wouldn’t have been possible without her support during the course of such a long career.
