The 15th World Championships in Athletics were recently held in Beijing, China. The event was the largest sporting event to take place at the Beijing National&nbsp;stadium (&ldquo;Bird&rsquo;s Nest&rdquo;) since the 2008 Summer Olympics. I had to lean at the right time, and I did just that.&rdquo; Gatlin is now 33 years of age. Eleven years ago, Gatlin won the 100 metres race at the 2004 Athens Olympics. At the 2005 Helsinki world championships, he won the 100 and 200.However, he was tested positive in 2005 and had to spend four years out of the sport. This was the time when the world started seeing Bolt as the new king of the sport. Gatlin on his part started working his way back after serving his ban. He won the Bronze in the 100 at the London 2012 Olympic Games, silver at the Moscow 2013 worlds, in both instances behind Bolt. However, he didn&rsquo;t lose a single race in 2014 or 2015. Bolt, meantime, spent most of 2014 injured and ran a limited number of times in 2015, posting a 9.87 earlier this year in London. The experts thought it would be Gatlin all the way at the World Championship in 2015.
