Vanessa Feltz tells Woman she’s feeling better than ever after losing weight
It’s no secret that radio broadcaster and journalist Vanessa Feltz has struggled with her weight over the years. But the self-confessed yo-yo dieter at last seems happy in her own skin, after taking drastic action and going under the knife to get the body she’s always dreamt of.
Since having a gastric bypass at the beginning of the year, Vanessa, 57, has lost an incredible three-and-a-half stone, as our exclusive picture (right) shows. And she’s not stopping there – she wants to achieve her goal of losing another 7lb.
Now, in an exclusive interview with Woman, the glamorous granny tells us, ‘I’m a size 12 and on holiday I wore a bikini, so I have a brown tummy for the first time in 35 years. I can wear a strapless bra and feel comfortable without bits bulging out, it’s such a nice feeling.
Vanessa also reveals how many of her previous health fears have vanished now that she’s lighter – and how it’s helping her handle the menopause as a result – why people treat her differently since losing weight, and how things have spiced up in the bedroom for her and her lucky toy-boy fiancé, Ben!
