There’s no denying Fern Britton has been through a lot during her time in the public eye, but one thing is certain: she always comes out on top.
After separating from husband Phil Vickery, 60, last year, it looks like Fern has decided it’s time to step back into the spotlight, as Woman previously reported.
As she turns 64, we’re told the presenter and author is considering some exciting projects, which may see her take her rightful place as one of our favourite women on TV once again.
Here, we look at all the times Fern has proved she’s the ultimate comeback kid.
Feeling liberated
Fern announced on Twitter last January that she was separating from her chef husband, Phil, after 20 years of marriage. She said they grew apart, but explained, ‘It’s all smooth. We just came to the end of the road, which is sad.’
She relocated to Cornwall during lockdown with their daughter, Winnie, now 19, and her elder daughter, Grace, now 24, from her previous marriage to Clive Jones (also father of her twin sons, Harry and Jack, 27).
