Adele looked completely shell-shocked as she left the London Palladium last week after her celebrity-packed one-off show An Audience With Adele.
The superstar singer, who admitted to being “nervous” about her first live performance since 2017, broke down in tears on stage and had to have her makeup reapplied for the TV special, only to be spotted looking incredibly distressed later in the night once she reached the back of the car that was driving her home.
Friends say it took a lot more out of the 33-year-old than she expected after having therapy for several years to deal with stage-fright issues.
