Carrying several shopping bags and with a security guard in tow, the Duchess of Sussex was snapped on a shopping spree in upscale Montecito recently. Now Woman’s Day hears Harry’s so worried about money that he’s clashing with his wife over her spending habits.

“Meghan has expensive taste and she loves updating their home seemingly constantly,” says a source. “She’s forever dropping hundreds of dollars on decor and Harry’s tearing his hair out over it. They’re still paying back British taxpayers for their renovations of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor that they barely used before they moved to the US and now Meghan’s draining their American bank account in a way Harry can’t believe. It’s a source of tension between them.”

QUEEN NOT AMUSED

This isn’t the first time Meghan’s extravagant spending has caused issues. The Queen was also said to have been concerned about the amount Meghan spent while she was living in the UK as a royal, according to Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett’s book Royals At War.

“The fact that Meghan splashed so much cash rang alarm bells with the traditionally conservative Queen Elizabeth,” said the authors.
