Ex-Home And Away actor Dan Ewing describes himself as a “growth junkie”, dedicated to any pursuit that pushes him to be the best person, father and partner he can be.
While his commitment to self-improvement and spirituality dictates most of his decisions these days, the 36-year-old admits that he is a completely different – and much happier – person than he was at 30.
“It’s changed my life in such a big way,” Dan tells Woman’s Day.
Chatting to Dan over the phone from his home, it’s clear that he’s incredibly passionate about what he’s learnt. Having studied to become a life coach during Sydney’s recent 107-day lockdown, he’s excited to share that knowledge with anyone who seeks it.
On SAS Australia, where the former soap star is currently being put through his paces, Dan has been seen with his eyes closed before a challenge, using his meditation and visualisation practice to calm his mind – something that hasn’t escaped the attention of fans.
And as he watches his experience back on TV, the actor insists he can completely understand where critics are coming from.
