Infuriated by rumours of her estranged husband Brad Pitt reuniting with ex Jennifer Aniston and distraught that the actor appears to be winning their nasty custody battle, Angelina Jolie has apparently embarked on her own revenge romance – with none other than Justin Theroux!

Under the guise of offering him a movie role, the Maleficent actress, 43, reportedly contacted the Leftovers star via his management and the pair arranged to meet for a top-secret meal in New York recently.

An insider claims, “Ange knows how to get under Jen’s skin. The whole dinner was very orchestrated. She did her homework and picked a restaurant Justin loved.”

And it paid off, with a friend of the actor adding, “There was instant chemistry and they ended up talking all night. Afterwards, Justin raved to friends that he’d had dinner with the most beautiful and fascinating woman in the world.”

During the clandestine date, Angelina and Justin, 47, discovered they had a lot in common – and not just their ever-growing collections of tattoos.
