With his roguish smile and dashing good looks, Prince Harry is consistently voted the world’s favourite royal, but Woman’s Day can reveal the handsome newlywed has made the shock decision to turn his back on his own family.

We’re told the prince is being forced to make the choice by his beleaguered wife, the Duchess of Sussex, who’s been at the centre of a royal feud and a string of public scandals while pregnant with their first child.

Most recently, leaked emails have revealed shocking details of her first wedding, where Meghan, 37, reportedly encouraged guests to take drugs. These latest reports have apparently tipped her over the edge, causing the duchess to issue her husband with an ultimatum – it’s me or the monarchy!

“Meghan is sick of being bullied and she’s demanding Harry shows his support by cutting ties with the royals if that’s what it takes to make it all stop,” a palace aide tells us. “She believes in taking the initiative during adverse situations, and always makes a point that pride and self-worth matter more than anything else.
