Old Passions Reignite - Jen & Justin's Emotional Reunion

Dogged by grief, the actress turns to an unlikely ally

In the 18 months since their shock divorce, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux found very few reasons to keep in touch. Despite promising to remain friends, the former couple went about rebuilding their lives in separate cities and contact all but fizzled out.

But last week, the devastated pair – who were together for seven years before their split – shared an emotional reunion as they came together to farewell their beloved dog Dolly, and pals say their grief has brought old feelings flooding back.

“As soon as Justin found out how sick Dolly was, he just had to get on a plane and be with her and Jen in Los Angeles,” claims a pal. “He could’ve stayed with friends or at a hotel, but Jen insisted he stay at her place to be close to Dolly during her final days.

“Dolly was like Jen’s baby, so she’s completely heartbroken, but she says that having Justin there made things so much more bearable.”

The Leftovers star, 47, posted a series of touching photos on Instagram of the touching funeral he and Jen, 50, held for their beloved pooch, who was adopted by Jen back in 2006.

In one photo, the former couple can be seen holding hands over Dolly, who is wrapped in a blanket and surrounded by colourful flowers.
