A boozy bender has her hubby hopping mad

It’s been a wild year for Victoria Beckham, so it’s no wonder she was looking forward to a flute or two of champagne at the BAFTA after-parties to take the edge off.

After all, in recent months, she’s hit headlines for her business struggles, consistent rumours of her marriage to David being on the rocks, and accusations that Prince Harry thought someone in Posh’s camp may have been selling stories to the press about his wife Meghan.

But the trouble for Victoria, 45, seemed to start when she began knocking back way more drinks than normal.

“After a few glasses, she got a bit mouthy,” alleges a source from within the British Vogue soirée in London, who adds that Posh’s A-list mates tried in vain to help her sober up.

“At one point, Rihanna grabbed her arm and persuaded her to take a break in the bathroom ... but it made her even worse. She continued downing drinks before breaking down sobbing.”
