We’ve all heard that the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, and new findings suggest this is entirely true. Nutrition professional Joel Feren reveals that research from HelloFresh and Bumble found that a home-cooked meal from a partner was considered more romantic than flowers.
“This is because cooking a meal for someone makes them feel special and shows you care,” he explains. “You have to really think about what that person would enjoy eating, get the ingredients together and learn how to make it.
“Speaking from experience, your partner will probably be more touched by a homecooked meal than a gift.”
