SEVEN TOP TIPS

No one ever wants to see their pet in pain or injured. But accidents happen. And when they do, it's essential to know how to handle the situation.

Here are 7 top tips for handling an injured pet:

1. Stay Calm

No one wants to see their pet in pain. But unfortunately, accidents happen, and sometimes our furry friends can get hurt. Stay calm and follow these steps if your pet has an injury.

Determine the severity of the injury by first evaluating the scenario. If your pet is in severe pain or bleeding heavily, it's best to take them to the vet immediately. If the injury is minor, you can try to treat it at home.

Next, clean the wound and apply pressure if necessary. If the wound is bleeding, try to apply pressure with a clean cloth to help stop the bleeding. Once the bleeding has stopped, you can clean the wound with warm water and soap.

2. Call Veterinarian Ahead
