A constructive discourse on the future of design, Design Debate focuses on Tier II cities across the nation. Bringing to you the vibrant Bhopal and Lucknow Editions - the interactive and knowledge-led endeavour has taken two successful steps.
In Bhopal, a stirring opening address by Indrajeet Saoji, Director, ITP Media, an enthusiastic welcome note by Partha Karmakar - Joint Vice President, BU Head - Professional Lighting, Havells India, kickstarted the interactive discussion. The glittering evening was made even more special with the presence of Mr. Ashish Bhattacharya - Owner, Designing Cell. An architectural consultant and artist, the multi-faceted man certainly brought charm to the proceedings, reiterating, “While tradition has given way to modern architecture, it has done so by building on a base of local materials and labour.”
After a noteworthy presentation by Arup Chakraborty - Category Head-LED Luminaire & Smart System, Marketing, Havells India, our moderator, the respected Ravisha Merchant, Principal Designer, Trivera Designs, set the context for the evening and was felicitated. As curator and moderator of both sessions, she played a pivotal role in driving the event to its success. Following this, Abhishek Raghuvanshi, Area Sales Executive, MRF Corp Ltd., took the stage for an informed presentation.
