Smart home gadgets can help homeowners simplify their everyday lives and replicate basic human tasks. Controlling the use of these resources (light, air-conditioning, electricity) through automation allows them to function at the desirable time. Aryaman Jain, CEO, Innovative Lighting Designs Limited (ILDL), explains, "Casambi enabled devices are one of the latest trends in this industry. Casambi collaborates with leading designers and luminaire, driver, and lighting control module manufacturers. It is a Bluetooth-based solution using state-of-the-art wireless technology, creating a mesh network and enabling connectivity within larger distances. Similarly, we also have Zigbee and Z-wave which are standard wireless technologies, connecting smart home products and enabling smarter and safer homes. Another interesting new concept is the LiFi, which is a wireless optical networking technology that utilises light for data transmission."
