THEY arrived by the dozens, a staggering 123 Suzuki Jimnys, to be exact, swarming Lake Navarino in the stunning vicinity of Waroona, WA, creating an impressive takeover of micro-sized 4x4s like no other. And if we count the even smaller radio-controlled versions that also took on the muddy, rut-streaked off-road tracks, there were a record-breaking 125 Jimnys in attendance.

In a 4x4 world overshadowed mainly by giants like LandCruisers, Patrols, Rangers and Defenders, the compact and ultra-robust Suzuki Jimny 4x4 has quietly carved out its niche.
