The advancements at the company are on the fronts of rated power, multiple configuration options (with overdrive), two enginedriven Power Take-off (PTO) provisions, and an optional integral output retarder for enhanced vehicle braking and to reduce braking wear. It is an advanced sixth-generation and comes with advanced prognostic capabilities.
Wider market acceptance
Fitted on mining trucks in the first half of 2023, for instance, trucks of Chinese Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) like SANY LiuGong and XCMG, it has paved the way for exports and as a result a wider penetration of these products to global markets like the Americas, the Middle East and Asia especially strip mining and ore transportation. This acceptance is attributed to enhanced productivity, manoeuvrability and decreased costs for off-highway mining trucks. The WBD series is particularly suited for off-highway duty cycles and harsh terrain conditions. The series lends to an extended torque range and higher Gross Vehicular Weight (GVW) options.
