As far as India is concerned, two-wheelers are our bread and butter when it comes to transport. Within that category, scooters take pride of place. Month on month, the sales charts are dominated by a select few and one of those big players is homegrown brand TVS Motor Company. For quite a while now, their star player has been Jupiter. In fact, 50 per cent of the company's sales come from the Zest and Jupiter, which fall in the 110cc commuter scooter category. In total, there are over 65 lakh customers for the Jupiter. To keep up with the times, there's a new and updated version of TVS' most popular scooter, and it's not hard to imagine that has quite some shoes to fill. The question is, can it still prove its mettle and become a sales hit like it has been for the past decade? We headed to the TVS factory in Hosur to see what's what with the brand new Jupiter 110.
