There is something about Minis that makes it special. Born to be an affordable family runabout, the Mini brand has moved to becoming a lifestyle statement. Over the years, the Minis have grown up and have become larger than ever before. Joining this pack of large Minis is the Countryman and that too an electric one. So has the Mini Countryman Electric lost any of the charm?
The Countryman continues to impress with its quirky looks. The SUV comes with the Mini DNA embedded in its design. The round headlamps look retro but pack in the latest lighting tech and also does a unique dance when the car is switched on. The octagonal grille too is every bit a Mini signature item. In profile, the SUV looks long and rather cool thanks to the dual-tone paint scheme.
The 19-inch wheels have been moved to the farthest corners to open up space. Clever! At the back, things look smart thanks to the unique bezels of the LED taillights. However, it would have been brilliant to see barn doors at the back instead of the hatch. In other news, the Countryman EV is also a larger vehicle. It is 130mm longer and 80mm taller than the older car.
