How to spec your Skoda Karoq
What Car? UK|September 2022
The Skoda Karoq has the measure of its family SUV rivals, including the Kia Niro, Nissan Qashqai and Seat Ateca. It serves up a big boot, a family-friendly interior and a well-judged balance between ride and handling. We recommend pairing the gutsy 1.5 TSI 150 petrol engine with mid-rung SE L trim for the best blend of standard kit and value for money, but there are still some upgrades worth adding from the options list.
How to spec your Skoda Karoq

BEST BUY

Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSI SE L

List price £29,445

Target Price £28,517

Options we'd add

Amundsen Package Plus (£600), Winter Package Plus (£425), Safety Package (£400), space-saving spare wheel (£170)

Total cost of options £1595

Every Karoq comes with a kit that allows you to temporarily repair a puncture to make it to a nearby garage, but such kits won't help if your tyre is very badly damaged. For such eventualities, we'd recommend a space-saving spare wheel (£170) to get you on your way to a mechanic for a replacement tyre.
