WINNING IN WEYMOUTH

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY

Winning Weymouth Speed Week has been a dream I thought I'd never achieve. Weymouth Speed Week has always been my favorite week of the year, it's a bit like Christmas, I know I'm going to have a week off work and I know I'm going to love it. This year was no different.

OUTLOOK & COMPETITION

The forecast looked like a mixed bag, I could see we were going to have some light wind days on the foil, and there was always some potential of a strong wind day later in the week. I knew my main competition was obviously going to be Scotty Stallman, fresh from breaking the Harbour record last year and having spent the season further improving on the PWA. Jim Crossly, Lüderitz speed star, also definitely wanted this title badly.
