Chatty parrot sets new world record

PREENING pretty bird Apollo is a talky TikTok influencer — and now the gabby African grey parrot holds the world record for correctly identifying the most items in just three minutes!

The red-tailed, chalk-faced mimic broke the record — and the internet — by naming 12 items at warp speed, including “sock,” “block,” “cork” and “bottle.”

“Want a pistach? Want a pistach?” prodded his owner, 25-year-old Dalton Mason, showing the beady-eyed bird the prized pistachio nut that could be his if the four-year-old winged wonder aced the verbal challenge.

Apollo was up to the task! With his eyes pinwheeling excitedly, he reeled off four correct answers in a row to earn his first pistach, followed by more lightning rounds.
