CONVICTED child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is terrified she’ll wither and die in prison because her love rat hubby, Scott Borgerson — who has her dough — is refusing to fund her appeal, sources say.

With a drop-dead January deadline to appeal her conviction and 20-year sentence fast approaching, billionaire sex slaver Jeffrey Epstein’s 60-year-old madam needs $1 million to fund the legal action. If she misses the deadline, legal experts say she’ll be stuck serving out her term — and forever be banned from filing an appeal!

Maxwell’s best hope appears to be tech entrepreneur Borgerson, 46, who she wed on the sly in 2016. However, after she was captured and jailed by the FBI, he reportedly dumped her in a coldhearted phone call to her at New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where she was awaiting trial leading to her December 2021 conviction for recruiting and grooming underage girls for A-lister Epstein, a pedophile and pimp!

“There was a dramatic phone call between Ghislaine and Scott, while she was being held in solitary confinement. It became confrontational,” says a confidant. “Scott told her he had moved on and was seeing someone else.”

The other woman is reportedly sexy yoga instructor Kris McGinn, who was spied openly smooching Maxwell’s man.
