Her fans have fallen crazily in love with her. And Beyoncé proved once again that she was running the world when she dominated the annual iHeartRadio music awards in Los Angeles last week.
The 42-year-old singer stole the show at the Dolby Theatre when she arrived in a leather Versace jumpsuit and matching cowboy hat, complete with western-style accessories.
The look was a nod to Cowboy Carter, her debut country music recording, which broke streaming records upon its release at the end of last month.
At the star-studded event, Beyoncé was given the Innovator Award, presented by music icon Stevie Wonder. The 73-year-old Superstition singer listed some of her albums as he handed a silver trophy to the former Destiny’s Child star, who told him: “I love you… I honour you.
“I want to thank you for making a way for all of us. Whenever anyone asks me if there’s anything I can listen to for the rest of my life, it’s always you.”
DREAMING BIG
After telling the audience that Stevie had played the harmonica on her recent cover of Dolly Parton’s Jolene, she continued: “Tonight, you call me an innovator, and for that I’m very grateful. Innovation starts with a dream.
