And although the then Victoria Adams garnered plenty of attention as the most stylish member of the Spice Girls, it was rare that she stepped out alone.
Fast-forward to 2024 and, as Victoria Beckham celebrates her 50th birthday this month, she is very much standing on her own two feet.
As half of one of the most famous celebrity couples in the world, she has maintained a happy marriage with husband David while raising four children, as well as building a successful fashion and beauty brand.
As she looks ahead to her sixth decade, the woman formerly known as Posh Spice could be forgiven for giving herself a big pat on the back.
“I feel very accomplished, personally, professionally,” Victoria said earlier this year. “This is the start of a new chapter. I’ve spent years creating the foundation. Now I can start building the house.”
And what a foundation she has built. She and David will celebrate their silver wedding in July and were last week seen cuddling up on their yacht during a romantic day out in Miami.
Their four children are happy and settled: Brooklyn, 25, is married to actress Nicola Peltz Beckham and pursuing a career as a food influencer, and Romeo, 21, plays football for Premier League club Brentford’s B team. Cruz, 19, is about to release his first music collaborations, while 12-year-old Harper is still at school.
MAJOR MILESTONE
With Victoria’s friendships also as solid as ever, no doubt her loved ones couldn’t be more proud of her as she heads towards the big 5-0.
