On Sunday, 4 August, the dashing actor took to Instagram to mark a special occasion - their 23rd wedding anniversary. Pierce's heartfelt post offered fans a glimpse into their journey together.
"Happy 23rd anniversary my darling Keely, my beautiful brown-eyed girl, my north, my south, my east and west. All my love, should I fall behind, wait for me," Pierce wrote to his wife and mother of their sons Dylan, 27, and Paris, 23, alongside a charming collage of candid moments.
Fans and friends flocked to the comments to congratulate the happy couple.
Actress and singer Rita Wilson (whose husband of 36 years is Tom Hanks) said: "Happy Anniversary! You are both wonderful people!!!" And actress Toni Collette, Pierce's co-star in 2014's A Long Way Down, simply posted three love-hearts.
Keely, too, shared on Instagram cherished photos from their wedding and more recent special moments.
"August 4th, 2001, Ashford Castle, County Mayo, Ireland. 'You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest person I have ever known.' Happy Anniversary my love. Here's to the next 23 years together. May they continue to be creative, adventurous, loving, inspiring, and joyful," she wrote.

In April, 30 years after their first meeting, journalist and author Keely wrote in a social media post: "Thanking my lucky stars that I had the courage to introduce myself to you and forever grateful for the connection and family we share three decades later."
