Her love of dogs is well known, Her so it's no surprise the Queen was in her element meeting a very special pack at Clarence House.
Her Majesty was hosting a special 15th-anniversary event for the charity Medical Detection Dogs (MDD), of which she has been a patron for ten years. It trains dogs to detect the smell caused by a medical condition and alert their owners to take action.
After watching Plum the black labrador, who has been trained to detect urinary tract infections, pick out an affected sample from a lineup, the Queen hailed the charity's work as "completely brilliant".
