Kerry 'in mourning after split

Kerry Katona says fiancé Ryan Mahoney was also her best friend and their break-up has been hard

Kerry Katona’s world came crashing down around her last week when she and her fiancé Ryan Mahoney called it quits on their relationship. She told readers of her column in new that their engagement was over after a “breach of trust”. Now, the 44-year-old has revealed that while she is coming to terms with the split, it’s a huge loss for her.

“I’ve been feeling very up and down since Ryan moved out, it’s not been easy,” the former Atomic Kitten star admitted. “He was my best friend so I’m adjusting to not having him around. It feels a bit like a death, which I know may sound dramatic but it’s mourning all the things you did together. It’s hard but I’m sure I’ll get there.”

Kerry and 36-year-old fitness instructor Ryan got engaged in 2021 but their romance has been anything but smooth sailing. The pair, who connected on Bumble in 2018, had been due to tie the knot in Las Vegas, but pulled the plug on their PH Sin City nuptials at the last minute. Kerry has also made no secret of the fact the couple had been arguing recently, with her OnlyFans work said to be one of the biggest bones of contention between them.

Now, with Ryan packing his bags and moving out of the family home, it feels like there’s no going back for the pair.
