It is this inspiration that Princess Beatrice reflected on when she opened up about her beloved mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, who has had to face two worrying cancer diagnoses in less than 18 months.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Beatrice opened up about her mother's enduring positivity and how she remains steadfast in her determination to see the light in the darkest of situations.
"My mum is always inspiring me," says Beatrice, 35. "She's one of the people that whenever life throws something really hard at you, she turns back to being one of the most joyful individuals."
Reflecting on how Sarah, 64, discovered she had skin cancer -the same diagnosis as her late father, Major Ronald Ferguson less than a year after facing breast cancer, Beatrice added, "I think what she's been through in the last year, it really made a lot of people get checked.
