During a broadcast of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, it was announced that actor Chris Evans, 41, had been chosen as People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2022. The Gray
Man star was unable to attend the show as he is currently tied up filming a new movie, Red One, so previous recipient of the award Dwayne Johnson congratulated him via video. “It means a lot coming from a former Sexiest Man Alive,” Evans said.
Taking to Instagram with a post of the People cover, the star owned his new accolade, captioning the image with, “I think we can all agree that it’s damn near impossible to follow in [2021 winner] Paul Rudd’s footsteps in any capacity, but I’ll do my best.”
