Harry & Meghan - A VERY (un) ROYAL TOUR

With a formal welcome, military parade, government officials and plenty of excited locals to meet them, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip to Nigeria had all the hallmarks of a royal tour. But for the couple who “stepped back” from their official duties in 2020, this was, instead, a very public private trip, as they represented themselves and the Invictus Games instead of the King.

“As I look around this room, I see myself in all of you,” Meghan told the school kids, having revealed in October 2022 that she’d discovered through a genealogy DNA test she was 43 per cent Nigerian.
