Justin and Hailey Bieber are parents! The star couple announced the arrival of a little boy, Jack Blues Bieber, by sharing an announcement on Instagram on August 23. “Welcome home,” Justin, 30, simply wrote in a caption to accompany a photo of his wife caressing their newborn’s tiny foot.

The arrival of the couple’s new addition came just three months after they shared news of Hailey’s pregnancy publicly for the first time. Fans of the Biebers were quick to react to their choice of baby name, with one taking to X (formerly Twitter) to say, it was “somehow the most normal celebrity baby name in a while”. Another fan mused, “Omg Hailey and Justin Bieber gave their kid a normal name, the world is healing.”

The name Jack appears to be a nod to Justin’s father, Jeremy, who has the same moniker as a middle name. While Justin has previously spoken about how he had experienced ups and downs in his relationship with his father, their bond appears to have strengthened. In a 2022 Father’s Day post, Justin told his dad he was “honoured” to be his son.
