KATE RITCHIE 'I'M SO SORRY'

Kate Ritchie's long-awaited return to Aussie TV has been overshadowed by her drink-driving arrest. The Australia's Got Talent judge was pulled over by police in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs on August 22. She was then taken to Maroubra Police Station, where she allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.06. Ritchie was issued with an infringement notice for the offence of Drive with Low-Range Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol, a Licence Suspension Notice and a $600 fine.

“Recently I undertook a random breath test. Although it was low-level, the test came back positive,” the 44-year-old shared on Instagram after news of the charge went public. “I made a poor decision and there is no doubt I understand the seriousness of my actions. I am truly sorry.”
