MICHAEL J. FOX - His brave battle

Tracy Pollan calls her husband of 34 years “one of the most kind people I’ve ever met” and says he “almost always looks at the situation and at the people involved, and thinks about others before he thinks about himself”.

The thing is, Pollan’s husband is no ordinary person. For that matter, he’d be forgiven if he wasn’t “the most kind” person given his circumstances. Her husband is Michael J. Fox, and in a recent interview with People magazine, the soulmates revealed how they’ve been to hell and back in 2022, but optimism and everlasting love continue to get them through. The couple explained why it’s been their worst year ever since the 61-year-old actor was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, a debilitating illness the Back to the Future star will eventually succumb to. “I broke my cheek, then my hand, then my shoulder, had a replacement shoulder put in and broke my [right] arm, then I broke my elbow. I’m 61 years old and I’m feeling it a little bit more,” he told the publication, adding that he then lost his beloved mother, Phyllis, in September. She was 92.
