RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE IS ASANCTUARY FOR THE BROTHERS
SCOUT & LONDON 'Our home away from home'

Ronald McDonald House is more than just a place to crash for the Davern family. It’s become a home away from home, the glue that keeps the family together and a safe place during what can only be described as a challenging few years for the Tasmanian couple, whose two sons London, 7, and Scout, 5, were both born with cleft lips and palates, and Pierre Robin syndrome. It is a condition where babies are born with a small lower jaw and have difficulties breathing. It often presents in conjunction with a cleft palate, which is an opening in the roof of the mouth.
