MORE IN LOVE THAN EVER, THE COUPLE PREPARE TO BE EMPTY-NESTERS

David and Victoria Beckham have spent their European summer in style, holidaying with three of their four children - Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, who celebrated her 13th birthday on July 10 - on a mega yacht off the coast of Sardinia, Italy before cruising to Corsica.

"We had the best dinner last night. We woke up this morning and said, 'We're so proud of the kids - they're such great, kind, sweet, humble, funny, hardworking young adults," Victoria - whose eldest son Brooklyn, 25, and his wife, Nicole, stayed behind in New York - told Nicole Kidman during a mid-holiday Zoom interview for Vogue Australia.

"But then the kids get older, and they flee the nest and have their own passions. Now, myself and David are in the next chapter... it definitely feels like that next chapter of our lives together." Indeed, the couple's two oldest kids are now around the age they were when Victoria, 50, slipped David, 49, her phone number on the back of a train ticket after they struck up a conversation in the Manchester United player's lounge in 1997.
